History:
Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823), considered one of the greatest watchmakers of all time, is at the origin of a large number of horological innovations, both technical and aesthetic. Within the Breguet company which he founded in 1775, he was, among other things, at the origin of inventions such as the tourbillon, the gong spring, the development of the automatic watch, the Breguet hairspring and the constant-force escapement… So many major innovations that still considerably influence the world of Haute Horlogerie today.
