History:
In 1937, the International Exhibition of Technical Arts in Modern Life foreshadowed a new style that would develop in the 1940s by breaking away from Art Deco.
During this decade, “tank” jewelry will appear. They are so called because their links look like tank tracks.
This immediately recognizable type of ancient jewel is gaining renewed interest today.
