He himself named this model « Type 20 ».
Among the watchmaking companies that submitted bids, four were selected: Breguet, Auricoste, Vixa and Dodane. However, it was Breguet that won the largest share of the market, representing around 50% of orders. From the early 1960s, Breguet saw the commercial potential of this chronograph. Alongside the Type 20s intended for military pilots, the company launched a « civilian » version called the Type XX. This model quickly became a best-seller.
In 1994, the third generation of Type XX was born, available in two versions: the Aéronavale, without date, and the Transatlantique, with a date window at 6 o’clock.
Bibliographic references:
Breguet horloger depuis 1775, Emmanuel Breguet, Editions De Gourcuff, 1998
Comments: Watch sold in Breguet case
Price: Price on request
Reference: 13 104 1

Metal: Steel Movement: Automatic Dimensions: 39 mm Bracelet: Steel Warranty: 1 year (overhauled October 2024) Conservation Condition: Very good condition History: The story begins in the early 1950s, when the French Ministry of…

[22,24,8

post-9655","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-22","category-breguet","category-montres
["GET
