George Fonsèque is best known for his collaboration with Émile Olive, which gave rise to the celebrated « grape » brooches praised by Henri Vever in French Jewellery of the Nineteenth Century. While one example of these brooches is preserved in the Victoria and Albert Museum, this floral model appears to be unique.
