History:
The story of Hermès began in 1837. Thierry Hermès, then 36, had lived in Paris for a few years when he opened his small shop as a master craftsman harness and saddler. His job is to design and manufacture harnesses and various equipment for horses which he then sells in his store. In 1867, thirty years after the store opened, Hermès was awarded the first class medal at the Universal Exhibition in 1867. From there, the success was dazzling.
